Atelier Vierkant launches Prêt à Planter, a ready made selection of models, manufactured in their workshops in Belgium, available from stock, in a limited series of colors: white, grey and black.
Willy Janssen established Atelier Vierkant in 1992 in the Belgian port town of Bruges in order to create the world’s only square terracotta pots which were traditionally round. Vierkant means "square". With nothing but clay as a medium, each simple but elegant planter is hand-made and unique. From planning and design to production and packing, human eyes and hands are involved in all processes.
Atelier Vierkant offers a range of eight clay bodies, coloured in the mass with natural oxides. Chromatic consistency, durability and resistance to continuous exposure to UV rays, humidity and frost, make their beautiful products last a lifetime.
