Viggo Boesen
Viggo Boesen (1907–1985) was a trailblazer in Danish design. He shaped the 1930s with his take on the 'Funkis' style—a Nordic twist on Art Deco featuring surprising forms. Unlike the Bauhaus' emphasis on minimalism and mass production, Boesen favoured soft, warm, and intuitive designs. His organic shapes and expressive approach were pivotal in shaping Denmark's modernist movement in the following decades.
