VE2 is a design duo consisting of Danish architects Hugo Dines Schmidt and Morten Lauritzen. Inspired by everyday life and the drive to improve it, they aim to create cohesive, aesthetic designs with clear functional justification. Their approach is rooted in honest, personal dialogue, seeking simple, Scandinavian, and enduring expressions. VE2's designs balance aesthetic and functional value, finding beauty in repetition, respectful production, and the product's interaction with its environment.
