Valerio Sommella

Valerio Sommella (1980–) is an Italian industrial designer from Cortona, Tuscany, who studied at Milan Polytechnic. He worked between Milan and Amsterdam early in his career before founding Valerio Sommella Design Studio in 2009. He collaborates with Italian and international companies on diverse product designs, reflecting his philosophy of exploring the language of objects through formal, material, and technological research. He views each creation as a distinct story with its own narrative, yet a consistent design vision unifies all.
