Ted Muehling

Since 1976, American designer Ted Muehling (1953–) has created jewellery and decorative pieces inspired by natural organic forms. Based in New York City, Muehling and his small team use various materials, including stones, metals, pearls, plastic, horn, crystal, and wood. Eschewing industrial design conventions, Muehling embraces an artisanal approach that allows for unexpected and serendipitous results in his work.
