Superstudio

Superstudio

Superstudio is a conceptual architecture group founded in Florence in 1966 by Adolfo Natalini and Cristiano Toraldo di Francia, later joined by Roberto Magris, Gian Piero Frassinelli, Alessandro Magris, and Alessandro Poli. Emerging from a vibrant cultural scene, the group debuted with the exhibition "Superarchitettura" in Pistoia alongside the design group Archizoom. Superstudio gained recognition for its visionary and radical projects, standing out for its multidisciplinary approach incorporating photography, design, and other fields. Their collaborative model contrasted with the traditional notion of the singular genius architect.
