Space Copenhagen

Founded in 2005 by Signe Bindslev Henriksen (1973-) and Peter Bundgaard Rützou (1966-), Space Copenhagen is a design studio that spans various disciplines, including interior design for homes, hotels, and restaurants, as well as art installations, furniture, lighting, and refined objects. They describe their style as Poetic Modernism, aiming to explore new directions by balancing contrasts, such as classic and modern, industrial and organic, sculptural and minimal, light and dark. Their intuitive approach results in designs shaped by specific contexts, functional requirements, and a deep interest in human behaviour.
