Scholten & Baijings
Designers Stefan Scholten (1972) and Carole Baijings (1973) blend art and design with artisanal and industrial processes to create a striking body of work that references the past while remaining contemporary. They founded Scholten & Baijings in 2000, merging minimal forms and colour with traditional crafts and industrial techniques in a unique manner. Their captivating use of materials has garnered international acclaim, with their work featured in collections and exhibitions worldwide. After 19 years of collaboration, Scholten and Baijings have chosen to pursue individual artistic challenges.
