Roberto Lazzeroni

Roberto Lazzeroni (1950-) was born in Pisa, where he still lives and works. He was trained in Art and Architecture in Florence and was interested in conceptual art and radical design. In the early 1980s, he shifted his work to industrial and interior design. Lazzeroni embodies what he calls sentimental design, reflecting a balance between the past and the future in his work. His designs show recognizable elements from the past, reinterpreted to create a harmonious dialogue with the present. Lazzeroni has worked with various notable firms, overseeing all aspects of brand development.
