Rafael Marquina

Rafael Marquina

Rafael Marquina (1921-2013) was a Spanish designer and architect based in Barcelona. In his practice, he combined interior and furniture design, collaborating with architects like Moragas and Gallisá, while also designing household appliances. He was best known for his revolutionary non-drip oil and vinegar cruet, which won the Golden Delta for best industrial design in 1961. Marquina's cruets have become staples in many homes and were reintroduced in 2018 by nanimarquina, preserving the original design and his signature.
