Sir Norman Foster (1935-) is a leading figure in modern British architecture. As the founder of Foster + Partners, he is renowned for his striking designs that frequently integrate steel and glass. This sleek, contemporary style extends to his product designs as well. The firm has created iconic landmarks worldwide, including Gherkin in London, the Hearst Tower in New York, and Hong Kong International Airport. In 1990, Foster was knighted and recieved the Pritzker Architecture Prize.
