Nathalie du Pasquier

Nathalie du Pasquier (1957-) is a French artist and designer who has lived in Milan since 1979. A self-taught designer, she became a key figure in Memphis in 1981, contributing to its distinctive style through her work on fabrics, carpets, and furniture. After Memphis disbanded in 1987, she shifted her focus primarily to painting. Du Pasquier's ongoing exploration spans paintings, sculptures, drawings, and ceramics, investigating the boundaries between representation and abstraction and the interplay between two- and three-dimensional forms.
