Matthew Hilton

Born in Hastings, England, Matthew Hilton (1957-) was drawn to architecture, design, and painting from an early age. His London-based studio is known for producing functional furniture using high-quality materials like solid hardwood, cast iron, and brass. Hilton's designs are fluid and adaptable, seamlessly blending functionality with style. In 2007, he founded Matthew Hilton Limited in partnership with Portuguese manufacturer De La Espada, allowing him greater control over his designs. In 2016, they launched five new pieces, continuing Hilton's commitment to creating beautifully crafted furniture.
