Mario Trimarchi

Designer and architect Mario Trimarchi (1958-) views design as a means to infuse poetry into everyday objects. He directed the Master in Design at Domus Academy from 1990 to 1993 and contributed to the Olivetti Design Studio, where he worked on ATMs and personal computers. In 1999, he founded FRAGILE, a renowned design studio he co-led with Frida Doveil. Trimarchi’s creativity spans brand identity, product design, and art. He has developed branding and corporate identity systems, particularly in banking and finance. A continuous collaborator with Alessi, he creates innovative products like the Ossidiana coffee maker, which has received multiple awards, including the Compasso d’Oro.
