Marc Sadler
Milan-based Marc Sadler (1946-) is known for his experimentation with plastics; he perfected the first fully recyclable ski boot in the early 1970s, which featured a patented symmetric shell and became the world’s best-selling ski boot. This began his career as a sports designer, leading to collaborations with multinational sports companies. Sadler has worked in Europe, North America, and Asia, consulting for home furnishings, appliances, lighting, and sports companies. He has won the prestigious Compasso d’Oro award four times and numerous other awards. Despite his technical expertise, he has a deep passion for painting and drawing, which he considers his true love.
