Léonard Kadid
Leonard Kadid (1987-) examines the qualities of materials through clear and enduring compositions, focusing on constructive processes and structural experimentation. After studying at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne and the École d'Architecture de la Ville et des Territoires in Paris, he collaborated with prestigious firms like Herzog & de Meuron in Basel before founding his own studio in Paris. In 2022, he received the FD100 French design prize for his solid oak chair collection, Pier, and his lamp, Möja, was added to the permanent collection of the Mobilier National. Additionally, he has taught an architecture studio at the École d'Architecture de Normandie in Rouen since 2022.
