Kris Van Puyvelde

Kris Van Puyvelde and Frank Boschman met at university in Antwerp while studying engineering. In 1992, wanting to start their own business, they decided to import outdoor teak furniture but soon realized the products needed to be higher quality and more contemporary. This prompted them to create their own line, founding Royal Botania, inspired by botanical gardens and luxury design. The brand quickly gained international recognition for its quality and innovative designs, expanding to include outdoor furniture, lighting, and bathroom fixtures, using materials like stainless steel, aluminum, and synthetic fibres.
