Kejii Takeuchi

Keiji Takeuchi (1977-) was born in Fukuoka, Japan, and grew up in New Zealand. He later studied at ENSCI/Les Ateliers in Paris and earned a bachelor’s degree in product design in New Zealand. After returning to Japan, he worked with Naoto Fukasawa before moving to Milan in 2012 and establishing his own design office in 2015. He received the Japanese Young Talent Award from Elle Decor Japan the following year. Takeuchi’s multicultural background informs his design philosophy, emphasizing simplicity and human connection. His work fosters a spontaneous dialogue between objects and daily life, appealing to various brands across different fields with its borderless approach.
