Jørgen Høj
Jørgen Høj (1925-1994) was a notable designer known for his functional furniture and interior design approach. After completing his education at the School for Arts and Crafts in 1950, he developed a progressive design philosophy alongside his friend and fellow designer Poul Kjærholm. Their collaboration, Self-Assembled Furniture, showcased at the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers' Guild exhibition in 1952, highlighted innovative concepts in modular design. Høj's work often featured industrial materials like aluminum, reflecting his design commitment to practicality and modern aesthetics.
