Julie York

Julie York (1972-) is a Vancouver-based ceramic artist who uses porcelain, glass, and plastic. Her work reflects a personal puzzle, where she carefully selects and arranges materials. Driven by industrial processes, she has toured manufacturing centers in China, documenting the mass production of ceramics. This experience has deepened her belief in learning through doing and the growth that comes from travel and experience.
