Eva Paster & Michael Geldmacher
After meeting at a university in Munich, industrial designers Eva Paster (1971-) and Michael Geldmacher (1968-) founded their studio Neuland Industriedesign in 1999. Their design philosophy emphasizes that products reflect a broader outlook on life, encouraging the designers to explore new perspectives that align with evolving values and systems. This approach enables them to re-evaluate functions and discover fresh aesthetic expressions. From 1999 to 2005, Paster and Geldmacher concentrated on classic industrial design, including medical technology, outdoor gear, games, and cosmetics. Since 2005, their focus has shifted towards furniture design, alongside their roles as lecturers.
