EOOS
EOOS is an international design studio established in Vienna in 1995 by Martin Bergmann (1963–), Gernot Bohmann (1968–), and Harald Gründl (1967–). Renowned worldwide, the studio takes its name from one of the four horses that draw the sun god Helios's chariot in Ovid's Metamorphoses. EOOS approaches design by exploring historical roots within a contemporary framework, referring to this method as Poetical Analysis®. This technique allows them to delve into the more profound significance of images, rituals, and myths as foundations for new designs. EOOS challenges conventional notions of design's meaning and function by investigating human rituals and offering their own insights.
