Edward Wohl
Edward Wohl (1942-2023) dedicated over fifty years to designing and crafting award-winning studio furniture, earning acclaim as a leading American craftsman. In 1982, he established his home and woodshop in the scenic hills of southwest Wisconsin and, alongside his wife Ann, founded Edward Wohl Woodworking & Design. With the support of a small team of skilled craftspeople, Edward created hundreds of custom furniture pieces for clients worldwide. While he acknowledged the impact of a summer spent with California woodworker Sam Maloof, Edward consistently credited his long-time friend and renowned industrial designer Bill Stumpf as his primary source of inspiration and learning.
