Claus Bonderup & Torsten Thorup

After graduating from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts School of Architecture in Copenhagen in 1969, Claus Bonderup (1943–) and Torsten Thorup (1944–) began collaborating on design projects worldwide for over 20 years. In 1985, they founded the award-winning Torsten Thorup & Claus Bonderup Architects, successfully completing numerous projects, including private homes, retail interiors, hotels, and residential developments. They also ventured into designing watches, furniture, and lighting. They each established their own practices in the early 1990s and continue to be active in architecture and design.
