Carlo Mazzeri & Luigi Massoni

Carlo Mazzeri (1927–) is a designer known for the iconic 870 cocktail shaker co-designed with Luigi Massoni. During the '60s-'70s, he and Anselmo Vitale created a hotel collection for Alessi. He managed Alessi's Omegna plant (1960–71) and founded an architectural studio in 1973, focusing on civil architecture, restoration, and town planning. - Luigi Massoni (1930–2013) began his design career with the 870 cocktail shaker designed with Carlo Mazzeri and the Serie 5 containers for Alessi, both of which are still in production. In 1959, he co-founded Mobilia and joined Boffi as a production coordinator, designing early modular systems for the home and kitchen.
