Alejandro Ruiz
Argentinian-born designer Alejandro Ruiz (1958–2018) moved to Milan in 1984 to complete his Master's at Domus Academy. He was a designer for Alessandro Mendini at Studio Alchimia and Pierluigi Cerri at Gregotti Associatti International. In 1994, he founded his studio, Studio Ruiz, where he worked in product design, visual communication, and interior design. His Parmenide Cheese Grater, designed for Alessi, is part of the Permanent Design Collection at MoMA in New York.
