About Inform

Absolutely not. We honour the integrity and quality that originals offer and ensure that every pieces we represent is 100% original.

We have a few newer sales associates but most have been working with Inform for years, some for decades.

All over the world. We carry several locally produced brands, large selections of Italian and Scandinavian manufacturers. We source the best products that the world has to offer. What is most important to us is that the manufacturing process is done responsibly and ethically.

We have given donations to a number of different charities over the years. Currently, we are focused on charities that provide for those in need within Gastown and the neighbouring areas, the DTES.

Shopping

We hope that you enjoy your new purchase. Here are a few things to keep in mind when shopping with us online:

Any defects and damages on a product must be reported within 48 hours of receiving the item with no exceptions. 

Special order items and custom items made to order are final sales and cannot be cancelled. Deposits are non-refundable and special-ordered goods are non-returnable.

In stock items purchased online can be returned up to 7 days after the date of receiving your order, minus any shipping and/or handling fees. Please note that items must be in original packaging and in unused condition

Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging. If your item is not returned in unused condition, Inform retains the right to refuse the return.

Variations in materials such as wood, marble, stone and concrete are natural and considered a part of the design of the final product and will not be accepted as a reason for returns or exchanges.

Colours and material swatches are for reference only; slight variations may occur.

Inform reserves the right to adjust prices online or in the showroom at any point, without prior notice.

All items that are sold at a discounted Sale or Promotional price are final.

All shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and will not be included as part of the refund.

For special order items lead times are approximate and subject to change. 

VANCOUVER SHOWROOM PICK UP 

We are currently offering local pick-up from our 50 Water Street Showroom or our local warehouse. 

If you select the ‘Pick-Up’ option upon checkout, we will be in touch within one business day to let you know when your order will be ready and provide exact details about the location of your order. Please note that warehouse pick-ups are by appointment only. 


SHIPPING 

Orders totalling under $200 before taxes will be subject to a $30 shipping fee within British Columbia and a $35 shipping fee for the rest of Canada. 

Orders over $200 but under $1000 before taxes receive shipping free of charge. This excludes oversized items such as long ladders, heavy outdoor accessories such as Atelier Vierkant Pots and select chairs. 

For orders over $1000 before taxes, a shipping fee of 12% of the overall order will be automatically applied at check out. 

*The 'date of purchase' is the date that full payment for shipping has been received by Inform.
 

LOCAL DELIVERY

For online furniture orders, we will coordinate delivery and installation with our in-house Inform delivery team. Please note, large items and items needing technical installation will be subject to additional charges. These will be quoted based on the order and the delivery location.

Our online shop offers to ship within Canada only. We are unable to accommodate international or US shipping online at this time. Custom US shipping can be arranged by contacting our showroom by phone, email, or in person.

Lead times vary greatly from a few days to several weeks. Please inquire about he specific piece(s) that you are considering for a more specific timeframe. 

If you require a special appointment to consider your purchases in person, please reach out to your sales associate or send us an email and special arrangements can be made.

The parking garage is accessed through Blood Alley behind the 50 Water Street showroom. Once you are at the gate, call the showroom at 604-682-3868 and we will open the door for you.

We do. If you are looking for a special discount for floor model pieces, signup for our newsletter and stay informed about our warehouse sales.

Many of our made to order pieces have the option to have them upholstered with a custom textile. There are concerns when it comes to taking this route. Contact your sales associate for details.
